Eclipse!

Well here it is! Our fabulous time we had at the Eclipse midnight premier! We were confused on the way things were going to go down so we showed up late and had to sit in the very front seat for 7 hours! Needless to say my neck was a little kinked, but it still didnt take away from how fun it was and the good time we had!

Graduated?

I should probably be sleeping, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to update my blog now that I have a little free time. My time as an LPN student is nearly up! I have completed all but two classes, and only 8 weeks until I am an official graduate (contrary to the words spoken at my graduation ceremony this week).
Problem 1? I was just informed that my Monday 10-2 class was just changed to Thursdays 5:30-9:00! Are you kidding me?! EITC must live and breathe to make things hard for me, daycare is going to be a bust! Problem 2? The teacher I was excited about has decided to up and retire! I personally think its just plain selfish but thats just me.




Anyways, I just wanted to comment on how BEAUTIFUL Monday was! I am so glad noel and I were able to enjoy it and spend a while outside! Her face could not have been a better description of how much we needed the sun. All I want to do is lay on the trampoline, close my eyes and soak in the sun. However!! These wonderful feelings bring me to my second point. How much I hate spring!! People say they LOOOOOVE spring but then complain when it gets rainy and cold. ITS SPRING! Its a transition season, some days it will be beautiful and some days it will be crappy. I do realize that this cynicism is coming from the near peak of my seasonal depression, but in all honesty I am so looking forward to the constant sun.

OK girls!! Ill update!! First of all let me say that i have no pictures because I lost my memory card with the last 3 months on it!!! I know!! I was very upset, but I put an old picture that might depict my life lately! Anyways life is pretty much the same, basically school is overtaking my life!! It is but I love it!! Im so excited that im finally on the road to where I want to be, I cant wait till im a nurse!! So keep the prayers coming that I make it!
The other part of my life has been this 12 week Golds Gym challenge that i've been doing! Its just a challenge of who can have the most dramatic body transformation in 12 weeks! Im 7 weeks in and ive lost 20 lbs!! It is about time is all I can say!! The first place prize is a trip to Hawaii which I want SO badly! I said from day 1 that I was going to win so lets hope that positive affirmation will kick in!! Welp that about does it! I'll keep you posted I promise! But jill this means you have to update your blog too!!

Im still Alive!

So its only been 3 months since my last post! No big deal! Oh I have seriously been so busy lately though. It basically comes down to I haven't done anything since school started again. This is my first semester in the LPN program, I knew I was going to have to work hard so I pushed my social life and pretty much all of my hobbies aside. Now I am super stressed all the time and I never give myself a break so I think I need to gradually bring it back in! Anyway we got family pictures a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty worried how noel was going to do but she did pretty good. Most of the credit goes to the photographers though, they can pretty much fix any situation and make it better. Cherie's boys did pretty good too, it was a long day but I am proud of all of us!

Well, this week I had the very exciting opportunity to hike Jenny lake. It was kind of last minute but so worth it! We made sure noels carrier worked and then we were on our way! She was SO excited, she was trying to get out of her car seat the whole way there. Driving into Jackson was amazing. I forget how pretty it is and it was such a nice day on top of that. We were a couple of miles in and were having such a great time that we decided to go all the way around the lake. The 7th mile of the uphill, rocky, and windy trail was when I started to decline. I thought I was going to die!! Out little minivan has never looked so beautiful to me!! I could berally walk into the house when we got home so I was sure that I would be mind numbing sore the next day but I wasn't! It was crazy. I can't wait for my next hike!

4th of July

Well I had a great 4th of July!! First of all it is definitely my second favorite holiday, secondly it was my first 4th of July with my little sweet Noel, and thirdly it is also Cherie's birthday and that is always fun. We didn't make it to the parade like we had planned so that's a little sad, instead I woke up early and made some 4th of July treats and cleaned up a bit. We had a relaxing day then made our way down to the river at about 8 and found a fantastic spot!! It was so amazing. Then we walked around the river and saw a lot of people we hadn't seen in a while and had some yummy Texas roadhouse sandwiches for a dollar!! Then the show was about to start so we busted back to our spots. I was so worried about how noel was going to do so I wrapped her up pretty tight so the blanket was over her ears, then the fireworks started and she just loved them! She just stared at them the for the longest time, then she started getting a little fussy so I just rocked her and she went right to sleep, she didn't even wake up during the finale!! How many babies do you know that can do that?? It was great, we came home and brycen and nathan shot of some or theirs and then it was off to bed. It was a great day, and I am so grateful for our country.

After a night of sleep I decided to look at it again and here it is! I like this one better I think. Its just funny how I thought a editing program would solve all my problems but its made it more stressful I think. Hm.
