Im still Alive!

So its only been 3 months since my last post! No big deal! Oh I have seriously been so busy lately though. It basically comes down to I haven't done anything since school started again. This is my first semester in the LPN program, I knew I was going to have to work hard so I pushed my social life and pretty much all of my hobbies aside. Now I am super stressed all the time and I never give myself a break so I think I need to gradually bring it back in! Anyway we got family pictures a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty worried how noel was going to do but she did pretty good. Most of the credit goes to the photographers though, they can pretty much fix any situation and make it better. Cherie's boys did pretty good too, it was a long day but I am proud of all of us!

Hiking Jenny Lake

Well, this week I had the very exciting opportunity to hike Jenny lake. It was kind of last minute but so worth it! We made sure noels carrier worked and then we were on our way! She was SO excited, she was trying to get out of her car seat the whole way there. Driving into Jackson was amazing. I forget how pretty it is and it was such a nice day on top of that. We were a couple of miles in and were having such a great time that we decided to go all the way around the lake. The 7th mile of the uphill, rocky, and windy trail was when I started to decline. I thought I was going to die!! Out little minivan has never looked so beautiful to me!! I could berally walk into the house when we got home so I was sure that I would be mind numbing sore the next day but I wasn't! It was crazy. I can't wait for my next hike!

4th of July

Well I had a great 4th of July!! First of all it is definitely my second favorite holiday, secondly it was my first 4th of July with my little sweet Noel, and thirdly it is also Cherie's birthday and that is always fun. We didn't make it to the parade like we had planned so that's a little sad, instead I woke up early and made some 4th of July treats and cleaned up a bit. We had a relaxing day then made our way down to the river at about 8 and found a fantastic spot!! It was so amazing. Then we walked around the river and saw a lot of people we hadn't seen in a while and had some yummy Texas roadhouse sandwiches for a dollar!! Then the show was about to start so we busted back to our spots. I was so worried about how noel was going to do so I wrapped her up pretty tight so the blanket was over her ears, then the fireworks started and she just loved them! She just stared at them the for the longest time, then she started getting a little fussy so I just rocked her and she went right to sleep, she didn't even wake up during the finale!! How many babies do you know that can do that?? It was great, we came home and brycen and nathan shot of some or theirs and then it was off to bed. It was a great day, and I am so grateful for our country.

After a night of sleep I decided to look at it again and here it is! I like this one better I think. Its just funny how I thought a editing program would solve all my problems but its made it more stressful I think. Hm.

Noels New Skill

Well Noel keeps passing all of my expectations!! I can't believe the things she is doing already!!! So I was folding laundry the other day and all of a sudden I look up and she pulled her self up to standing with the fireplace ledge! I almost died I couldn't believe it! I busted down the stairs to get my camera (of course every time I need it its on the opposite floor I am). When I got back up the stairs she was already back down but she quickly started up again. Now she wont stop pulling herself on everything that is raised off the ground! Even though it scares me I just love it. She is growing right up. Everyday is something new and exciting. I can't tell you how many times a day I bust out laughing over something she does. Tonight I was laying with her trying to get her to sleep and she was almost there, then all of a sudden she opens her eyes and looks and me then smiles at me, oh it was precious then I smiled back and she just giggled! I couldn't help but giggle too! It took twice the time to get her back to sleep but it was worth it. I put the pictures in chronological order, I pretty much captured all the steps it took to pull her self up. Her arms must be getting so strong.

Well, this photography thing just took a turn for the worse, WOW! Now that noel is almost completely mobile picture taking is almost impossible! It only takes 2.3 seconds for noel to be off her bum and on her stomach scooting away from me, gah! Man it used to be so wonderful when she didn't know how to get from her bum to her tummy, she could just sit there and be cute! I know a couple of things I think I'm going to have to get a bigger sheet of material and some little snacks to keep her occupied. I don't know if i have it in me!

First Summer outing

We took Noel to Ririe reservoir last weekend, it went well on the land! She loved being in her pack n play, she rolled around and played with toys. When we went on the boat and got her lifejacket on she was fine for a while until she figured out that she couldn't move an inch. She screamed until we started moving. The motor soothed her for a while, but im not sure that she liked it all that much. We'll see how she does our next outing out. It was so much fun to see her outside and in fun summer clothes.

I've had ENOUGH!!

So I went to walmart twice today! It feels like I've been to walmart everyday since noel has been born. Living 2 1/2 minutes away from walmart has made me way to dependent, any time I need anything i just jump in the car and there I am! It seems so convenient but then I have to go to the baby isle to see if there is anything new, and before you know it I've been there an hour! It happens every time. I'm so sick of wasting my days there, I have so much to do and it has been the opposite of convenient, let alone a drain on my check book. So I've decided to go to walmart only once a week, I think wednesday. I'm just going to keep a list of what I need when I think of it. Not only will it save time but I think it will help me save money because it gives me time to deliberate on if I really need it or not! Why did I not think of this earlier. Anyway I will tell you how it goes and if I can stick to my guns until next wednesday. Wish me LUCK!!

Im Committed

Well i've recommitted myself!! I have a photography for dummies book and Im going to use it! Im going to learn how to read lighting and all that fantastic stuff, I am just finding that I really love it, plus I love my aunt taunyas stuff! She is such a good photographer. I've also decided that my next big purchase will be a nice camera, not insanely nice, but 300 dollars or so I think is what i'm goint to give it, I know I want it to be digital. Maybe a rebel, I should start researching now but if I do that i'll probably find something amazing and HAVE to have it right then. Wow im greatful I have a job.

Noels new swimsuits

Well the weather sure isn't good enough to go swimming yet but I couldn't help putting noel in her little swim suits and see how they looked. I for one think they are REDICULOUSLY ADORABLE!! I would like to thank Randy and Alice for these, they were hand-me-downs from abby! I can't get enough of them, especiall the yellow one that will do such a good job of protecting her skin in the sun! The other one I'll just use in indoor places. I can already tell she's going to be a good little swimmer, she just loves the bath and kicks around. Although she keeps trying to turn over in the tub which makes me nervous! It'll be a long long time before I'll be able to take even one eye off her.

Weekend at Cherie's

So this past weekend I went to Cherie's to help her move. Let me just say I'm completely in love with their new house. I think it's so perfect for them! I keep looking at any day that I have off so that I can go down and visit. She has an awesome room for a salon, and one for a playroom right by it. Even amongst all the chaos of moving in she took some time out to cut and color my hair. There must be something about the new salon room because it was the best hair cut I've ever had. I can not stop running my fingers through it and people keep telling me the color looks great. Don't get me wrong she always does amazing things, but this was Hollywood good.

I got to watch the boys for a while and I loved it! They have the most amazing backyard I should have gotten some pictures of it dang it! We had such a good time and they loved their house. Noel loved it too. There were so many toys there she was in heaven!! I can't wait for my next day off!

Noel's First time eating cereal!

Well it was an exciting day for both of us!! The first time you make cereal it is really really runny, so it wasnt the easiest situation. It basically just ran down her face the whole time. She was opening her mouth waiting for it though. I really think that she was ready for it. Her favorite part was playing with the spoon after we were done. The following day I made the cereal a lot thicker and she loved it!! She ate the whole bowl! I couldn't believe it. If that wasnt exciting enough your never going to believe what happened that night!! I put her to sleep, went to bed myself and she slept till 7:30!!!!! Oh it was a beautiful thing. I am so happy for this sleeping through the night thing that everone keeps talking about to finally start happening!!

Well here it is, after many long nights of study and research I made my purchase! I had been deadlocked for a while between two high chairs that were about the same price, both had great parent reviews, both would work for girls and boys, and I like both of their styles about equally. I didn't know what to do, I don't know why I get so stressed on making these silly decisions but I do. They were both ones I had found on the internet and not in any local stores.
Then one night my mom and I were at walmart getting a few things and I decided I would just browse over to the high chairs to take another look, the ones on display were still not what I wanted, but then my mom saw a box under the display shelf and said "wasnt this one of the ones you wanted?" and it WAS!!! I was so excited, now I wouldn't have to pay shipping and it would make up my mind for me. So here it is!!
