Noels new swimsuits

Well the weather sure isn't good enough to go swimming yet but I couldn't help putting noel in her little swim suits and see how they looked. I for one think they are REDICULOUSLY ADORABLE!! I would like to thank Randy and Alice for these, they were hand-me-downs from abby! I can't get enough of them, especiall the yellow one that will do such a good job of protecting her skin in the sun! The other one I'll just use in indoor places. I can already tell she's going to be a good little swimmer, she just loves the bath and kicks around. Although she keeps trying to turn over in the tub which makes me nervous! It'll be a long long time before I'll be able to take even one eye off her.

Weekend at Cherie's

So this past weekend I went to Cherie's to help her move. Let me just say I'm completely in love with their new house. I think it's so perfect for them! I keep looking at any day that I have off so that I can go down and visit. She has an awesome room for a salon, and one for a playroom right by it. Even amongst all the chaos of moving in she took some time out to cut and color my hair. There must be something about the new salon room because it was the best hair cut I've ever had. I can not stop running my fingers through it and people keep telling me the color looks great. Don't get me wrong she always does amazing things, but this was Hollywood good.

I got to watch the boys for a while and I loved it! They have the most amazing backyard I should have gotten some pictures of it dang it! We had such a good time and they loved their house. Noel loved it too. There were so many toys there she was in heaven!! I can't wait for my next day off!

Noel's First time eating cereal!

Well it was an exciting day for both of us!! The first time you make cereal it is really really runny, so it wasnt the easiest situation. It basically just ran down her face the whole time. She was opening her mouth waiting for it though. I really think that she was ready for it. Her favorite part was playing with the spoon after we were done. The following day I made the cereal a lot thicker and she loved it!! She ate the whole bowl! I couldn't believe it. If that wasnt exciting enough your never going to believe what happened that night!! I put her to sleep, went to bed myself and she slept till 7:30!!!!! Oh it was a beautiful thing. I am so happy for this sleeping through the night thing that everone keeps talking about to finally start happening!!

Well here it is, after many long nights of study and research I made my purchase! I had been deadlocked for a while between two high chairs that were about the same price, both had great parent reviews, both would work for girls and boys, and I like both of their styles about equally. I didn't know what to do, I don't know why I get so stressed on making these silly decisions but I do. They were both ones I had found on the internet and not in any local stores.
Then one night my mom and I were at walmart getting a few things and I decided I would just browse over to the high chairs to take another look, the ones on display were still not what I wanted, but then my mom saw a box under the display shelf and said "wasnt this one of the ones you wanted?" and it WAS!!! I was so excited, now I wouldn't have to pay shipping and it would make up my mind for me. So here it is!!

My sick little baby!!!

So my poor little noel has been sick these past few weeks. At first it was really hard for me to decided if she was sick enough to take in, she was throwing up everything she was eating and had fevers but she was always so happy, but after 5 days of not getting any better I took her to the ER, it turned out that she had RSV, bronchiolitis, AND an ear infection. I felt so horrible, she had to be on oxygen while we were in the ER and then she was admitted. The nurse that took care of us when we got to the floor was AMAZING, I hope when I become a nurse that I can be as amazing and caring as she was. She still wasnt getting much better being there so we had to give her an IV, they had to poke her 10 times till they got it. They had the hospitals most skilled nurses trying to get it, had the vein finder and everything. It was so hard for me, and I can't imagine how traumatized she was. We ended up being there for 4 days, I begged them to let us go home I couldn't take it anymore, and i felt confident that I could take care of her. She is still on some breathing treatments but doing so much better, she is such a trooper. Oh I just love her so much, Im so glad she's better. The bad thing is she is back in my bed, I had just gotten her trained to sleep in her crib, but after she came home I wasn't about to let her sleep alone. So its back to the training!

I just couldn't help it, I saw them on the rack, walked straight to them, and picked them up. There were so many voices in my head, they're only going to fit her for a couple more months .... but they're SO CUTE, she has so many shoes already .... but none are THIS CUTE, I should be spending my hard earned money on something else ..... but they are SO SO CUTE! and it goes on and on. I stood there for a good five minutes stressing my self out over the situation. I then put the shoes down and walked away. After picking up my necessities I walked to the check out stand but I couldn't go forward, I made an A line to the baby aisle put the shoes in the kart and went to check out. I went home and put them on Noel, and it was all worth it!! I have never seen something so cute in all my days. It was only after the tenth picture that I realized that I may have a shopping problem!

took like nine pee-tests,

4.What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant? I ran around in circles saying "oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh"

7.Did you tell everyone else right away? no i didn't want to but it hard for me to keep secrets

10.Did you want to find out the sex? heck yes! I barely made it 20 weeks and i had dreams about it every night.

12.Did anyone throw you a baby shower? yea a little nursery makeover from krista and my mom

13.Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew that you wouldn't put on your baby? only one i think, im pretty picky about clothes.

14.How much weight did you gain? 35 pounds. i was a tank

15.Did you lose all of the weight that you gained? Yeah, and slowly a little more

16.Did you get any stretch marks? HA HA where didn't i get stretch marks! My body refuses to stretch

17.What did you crave the most? Any kind of fast food, mostly jack in the box though

18.Did you crave anything crazy? no i don't think so,every once in a while i would jones for a pickle though

19.Who or what got on your nerves? everyone got on my nerves, especially stinky people that came into the ER

20.Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? not really except that i wouldn't stretch and got 3rd degree tearing.

21.Where and when did you go into labor? I was induced at EIRMC, with cervadil and that put me into active labor

22.Did your water break? yes, right when I was getting my epidural and i had to try to hold still

23.Who drove you to the hospital? my wonderful mother, i was so nervous

24.Who was in the room when you gave birth? Dr. Leavitt, my nurse, my sister, and my mom.

25.Did you go early or late? i was induced a week early

26.How long were in labor for? i went in at 6 monday night and had her 10 the next morning,

27.Did you have any drugs for the pain? Epidural... but it wore off by the time i actually delivered. I could feel everything... i had 3rd degree tears, and i could feel the Doc stitch me up.

28.Did you go natural or have a C-section? I went Natural. Everything went pretty easy, and smooth. i can't complain.

29.What was your first reaction after giving birth? I was shaky really out of it, i couldn't even get up the strength to hold noel, but i was SO excited to see her and make sure she was a girl

30.How big was the baby? 6 pounds 11ounces, and 20 inches long


32.What did you name the baby? Noel Elizabeth

33.Does his name have any significant meaning? I had noel picked since i was 7 and elizabeth is a mix between my grandma Betty and my mother Lisa

34.Did you have any visitors? Yes quite a few and it seems like I was always breast feeding

35.Did the baby have any complications? nope she was perfect

36.How old is your baby today? 4 1/2 months

37.When is the next one coming? heck if i know, i definatly want another though, and with a husband this time

38.If you could, would you do it all over again? i think i would bring noel into the world at a later time and different circumstances, but i just love her so much its hard to think of life without her.
